The Leaves Are Gone

Today was the day that I decided to take my sister around town and put together a video of fall. It was full of fun memories and we just kind of chilled out. See, my sister is six years younger than I am so getting along has never really been our thing. But today we adventured around to see the beauty of fall where we live and we did it to entertain ourselves for a few hours.

If you can't tell, I really love fall. But its become that time where all the leaves are falling off of the trees, which means winter is approaching. But I'm okay with that too.

Just thought that I would give you an update on the current levels of happiness. I'm pleased to say that they are through the roof. Just to give an example; the football team is going to state. I'd say that's amazing considering they lost by 49 the first game of the season. I'm excited that my senior year has been like this so far. I got rid of the people in my life that made me miserable and upset, which was extremely hard, let me tell you, but totally worth it.

I also have found that I love taking pictures. I love my camera and walking around finding things to take pictures or videos of. I find inspiration on YouTube of people who do amazing work and are some that I look up to.

That's all I have for this post, hopefully sometime this week I'll have another with something that actually has some sort of content and interest. Please, please, please check out my video! You can find it here.

Have a wonderful week, my lovely readers!

Fall

Fall is among us. It's full of haunted houses, bonfires, apple cider, carmel apples, and the colors of it all are amazing. The bright reds, oranges, yellows and even the dulling of the green trees of summer. It's a beautiful thing, so I went out and took some pictures of it all. Enjoy!

Well...This is Awkward

Okay. So I know that I have been completely MIA. This past month has brought the most intense part of my sports season and the end of it all. So that has meant school work and sleep. Then on the weekends sleeping in until noon and then meeting up with my friends.

A lot of good has happened in these past few months. There have been a lot of memories made in these past few weeks. Late night Village Inn breakfasts, 3:30 movie sessions, Homecoming and so much more. This is when I decided to live life and kind of disconnected with the blog.

So instead of having this be kind of a hassle on top of the millions of other things I had to do, I gave up. But I'm going to keep up with it. I'm going to start blogging, a bit more sporadically than what I was doing, but blogging anyways. Things are going to be shaken up here a little bit, which I think is amazing. It's kind of like a reinvention of what the blog was.

So I guess this is another welcoming to the blog, a new start.

Welcome to my life, re-blogged.

Day 33: Music Monday

The theme for this weeks music is simply indie. The indie soul and feel is the best part of music to me. This music can either be music that's perfect for the beach, study night, rainy days or cold winter mornings. I love it. And yes, I know I am a day late. I'M SORRY.

By the way, for all you indie hearts, there is a beautiful website that you can check out here.

Beware the Dog - The Griswolds

I Think I Like You - Siren

H8M4CH1NE - The Neighbourhood

Cavalier (The 1975 Remix) - James Vincent McMorrow

Chill out. Jam out. Enjoy the indie soul flowing through your veins.

I sound so cliche.

The Weekend: Messy Ponytails and Cards Against Humanity

Friday:
CAMO CAMO CAMO. I mean going to a football in 50 degree weather is amazing. Especially when you get to embrace your inner hick and wear camo. Have I mentioned I am really digging football season?

Saturday:
College game day. Again. All fall and most of winter long. But this one was especially fun because it began late. That means that friends get to stay later. Instead of actually watching the game, my friends and I decided to play Cards Against Humanity. If you look at the website you can see there is free download and you can get them printed off at a print shop. That's what we did. Let me tell you, it's so much fun. It's exactly like Apples to Apples for, not necessarily adults, but people of a more mature nature. It's not for the faint of heart.

Sunday:
Finishing shopping for senior pictures. That's one big stressor that has been taken off my shoulders. Shopping for stuff like that isn't my forte. I'm a casual shopper, not a event shopper. Which may be why I have so many clothes. I have yet to wear the same thing to school yet...besides pants. But messy ponytails, Sunday, and homework all go together.

Stay tuned for tomorrow and the 2nd day of Music Monday. Be gorgeous, little ones.

Day 29: Finding Happiness

HAPPY DAY.

I think today was finally the day that I gave up on the bad. I gave up on the things that upset me. I let those things go. It was time. Time to try something new, hang out with different people, and branch out. This is where making and creating your own happiness comes into play; do what you want. Don't rely on others to make you happy because they will fail. Nobody knows you like you do.

To be clear, I haven't gave up on people, I just gave up on all that I was always trying to do. I was constantly trying to keep the peace and make them happy, do what they want. I realized that wasn't what made me happy. It actually made me quite sad. I was always stressed and constantly disappointed. I then came to the conclusion that they don't know. They don't know that I try so hard, it's just normal to them. It was time for me to step back before I fell off the edge.

Wednesday was my favorite outfit. I love mixing and matching things that end up working together. Lately I have been experimenting with different things. I have been looking on Pinterest for outfits for pieces of things that I have in my closet that don't get worn, which has actually become a new hobby for me.

Alright, it's bedtime. An 18 hole golf meet tomorrow, which means it's an early morning for me.

Day 29 conclusion: Take charge of your life. Out with the bad, in with the good.

Day 28: British Flag Sweaters

Tuesdays are annoying.

I hate Tuesdays.

They are beginning to be the lull in the week where things are just boring.

Weekend events end and it's time to try and focus on school again. Wonderful. But this Tuesday it rained. And if you have been keeping up with my blogs, you should know that I love rain.

Rain called for my favorite sweater. Which also happens to have the British flag on it. It's kind of an inside joke thing as to why I have it, but it's also so cozy, which is wonderful.

Well that was today. Like I said Tuesdays are boring. But tomorrow's post should be pretty cool. Stay tuned!

Day 28 conclusion: The British flag spices up a gray rainy day.
